One of the biggest things that determines how your finished lashes actually look is your lash style or lash mapping.

The placement of different lash lengths across the eye can make your eyes look more open, lifted, elongated, soft, dramatic, or wispy. And the same lash style can look completely different from one person to another depending on your natural lashes and eye shape. At My Little Beautique, we don’t believe lashes should be one size fits all. Your lash artist can customize your set to complement your eyes and the look you’re going for.

Doll Eye

A Doll Eye style uses the longest lashes toward the center of the eye, with shorter lengths toward the inner and outer corners.

This creates a more open, bright and rounded appearance.

Doll Eye can be a great choice if you want your eyes to look bigger and more awake rather than elongated.

The vibe: Open • Bright • Feminine • Doll like

Cat Eye

A Cat Eye gradually increases the lash length toward the outer corner of the eye.

The result is a more elongated, lifted and sultry look.

But here’s something important: Cat Eye isn't automatically the best choice for everyone. Depending on your natural eye shape, putting too much length on the very outer corners can sometimes make the eyes appear more downturned rather than lifted.

Your lash artist may adjust the placement to give you that cat-eye effect while still flattering your natural eye shape.

Natural Eye

If you love that “my lashes, just better” look, a Natural Eye may be perfect.

Instead of dramatically changing the shape of the eye, the lengths follow the natural growth and shape of your lash line.

This creates a soft, balanced enhancement that works beautifully for everyday wear. And natural doesn't have to mean barely noticeable! You can still choose Classic, Hybrid or Volume depending on how much fullness you want.

Wispy

Wispy lashes are all about texture and dimension.

Instead of keeping every lash at a similar length, your lash artist incorporates strategically placed longer pieces often called spikes throughout the set.

This creates that fluffy, textured look that's become so popular.

Wispy styling can also be combined with other maps. You can have a Wispy Cat Eye, Wispy Doll Eye or Wispy Natural Eye.

But Which Lash Style Is Best for You?
